Plenary lectures
Four plenary lectures are planned:
- two at the opening ceremony in the “Grand Amphitheater” on Monday morning, 30 June:
- "How sound from human activities affects marine mammals," by Peter Tyack of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, MA, USA
- "New trends in aeroacoustics: From acoustic analogies to direct numerical simulations," by Daniel Juvé of the "Ecole Centrale de Lyon", France.
- two others during the ASA/EAA/SFA plenary session on Wednesday afternoon, 2 July.
- "Binaural hearing and systems for sound reproduction," by Philip Nelson of the University of Southampton, UK.
- "Light and sound: Ultrasonic imaging in molecular medicine," by Matthew O'Donnell of the University of Washington, WA, USA.
